Barn Swallows “feed on the wing”, snatching their bug snacks mid flight, from just above the water surface or up to heights of 100′ of more.
This particular barn swallow is resting on a reed, facing the wind. Taking on what’s coming with grace and ease.
Cut from jet black archival paper, this is a 2 layer papercut art, in between layers is a translucent mint blue sheet, which changes tone and intensity with sun, lamp, or the absence of light.
This papercut art frame woodland decor measures 8×10″, and is a hinged frame of 2 pieces of glass. The frame closes with a slide latch and hangs from a circle link chain with gorgeous pale blue velvet ribbon.
