This tiny Medusa wears a crown of snakes, features fangs, and a slithering tongue. Turning anyone who looked at her to stone, Medusa was the ultimate in self preservation and solitude.
She is cut from black archival paper and backed with a serpent green outline. Once mounted, this tiny medusa is then installed into an antiqued copper locket with a slide latch. Hangs from a red copper chain 26″ in length.

The Amulet Collection
An amulet, also known as a good luck charm, is an object believed to confer protection upon its possessor. The word “amulet” comes from the Latin word amuletum, which Pliny’s Natural History describes as “an object that protects a person from trouble”.
Each piece in The Amulet Collection is chosen for it’s powers of healing, luck, strength, fortune, self preservation, or powers of good will.
Each was made with an affirmation and wish that the purchaser be protected and showered in joy, health, and fortune.
“Friends bought me one of your pieces for a gift. It has become the focal point of the room. Everyone that sees it, loves it. Each seeing something different as the shadows move across the backdrop. Simply Beautiful.”
It arrived & it’s so wonderful. We couldn’t believe how quickly you made and shipped it, too! And your packaging is perfect. Thanks so much, Casey!
